Our architect for this process has been Nigel Jones, a Hobart-based designer who was born in England. This has given him a particularly keen sense of what we're after -- which is refreshing, after the odd looks given to us by other architects we'd approached.
We actually found the original sketches of our home recently, and compared them to what Nigel has come up with. Suffice to say, the difference is dramatic. It's amazing what a trained eye can add in terms of interest and efficiency. |
